The park features rugged savannah, mountains, and seasonal rivers. Wildlife includes lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and ostriches. Game drives are excellent for remote wildlife viewing. Points of interest include Narus Valley, Kidepo River, and Kanangorok Hot Springs. The park is also known for its cultural encounters with the Karamojong people.
