Western Uganda, near Fort Portal. Established in 1993, Kibale is renowned for its high density of primates, especially chimpanzees, and its rich rainforest. The best time to visit is June-September, December-February. By road: 5-6 hours from Kampala.

The park is also known for its stunning landscapes and biodiversity.
