Hells Gate National Park
Located south of Lake Naivasha, in the Rift Valley. Established in 1984, Hell's Gate is named for its intense geothermal activity and dramatic cliffs. The park is known for its unique walking and cycling safaris. The best time to visit is June-September. By road: 2 hours from Nairobi.

The park features towering cliffs, gorges, rock towers, and geothermal springs. Wildlife includes zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and various birds of prey. Walking safaris and cycling are popular. Points of interest include Fischer's Tower, Central Tower, and Olkaria Geothermal Station. The park's landscapes have inspired scenes in major films.
