The best time to visit is June-August, December-February. By road: 8-10 hours from Kampala. By air: Kihihi or Kisoro airstrips.

The main activity is gorilla trekking, with guided treks to see mountain gorillas. Points of interest include Buhoma, Nkuringo, Rushaga, and Ruhija. Bwindi is also known for its stunning waterfalls and rich biodiversity.
